Wine and Cheese evening. 28th February 2012. 7:30pm 

The first in a series of events in the Vignette, our new wine lounge. Our wine and cheese evening will be relaxed, informal and give an informative insight into the difficult world of matching cheese to wine.  You will be sampling a selection of great wines and some stunning cheeses from the 'cheese cellar'.  We are really looking forward to this great evening and hopefully we'll find some interesting pairings!

An evening of Spanish wines and meats from Brindisa. 28th March 2012. 7:30pm

We love our Spanish wine and we are also big fans of cured meats, so what better way to celebrate both than hosting an evening that celebrates both!  Brindisa are experts and provide us with some of the finest cured meats to be found.  Combine this with some great wines from top Spanish producers and we have a recipe for success!  This promises to be a tremendous evening and one not to be missed.

Oyster and Champagne tasting. 25th April 2012. 7:30pm

We are teaming up with renowned champagne house 'Taittinger' and oyster experts 'Wright Brothers of Borough Market' to bring you this brilliant food and drink experience.  You'll experience the differing qualities oysters have and experince a full range of Taittinger's lovely bubbles.  I really can't wait for this and we're expceting demand to be high.

South African Wine Dinner with 'Hof's' wine. 26th April 2012

Join us for a delicious 4 course dinner that is deisgned to match 'Hof's' award winning wines. Wine makers Chris and Sophie will be here hosting the evening and taking you through their wines is a relaxed and yet informative manner.  You will be sampling some fantatsic South African dishes such as Springbok, which, are brilliantly suited to these great wines from a top producer.

Sunday Night Jazz 7pm - 9.30pm

Join us every Sunday at The Commander Bar.  Sit back with a drink and listen to the sounds of our talented artists in the main bar area.  Please ask a memeber of staff to find out who is performing every week.  Entrance is free so please come along!

Our traditional Sunday Roast 12pm - 9pm

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon with all the family at The Commander Bar.  Tuck into a traditional 3-course roast dinner with all the trimmings and lets us take care of you.

3 course Sunday Roast - £25.50 per person.  Children's menu available.

Tuesday Mornings - Baby Bop
